  • The First Day of my study in a seminary

    IMGP4519

I was so excited to be a full time student today. The last full time study was 13 years ago. WOW …

Maybe I need to take much time in tuning myself and trying hard to adapt the new learning environment. In the past 13 years, I was a chemistry teacher in a high school and got an authority to instruct students’ learning. But now … the feeling’s pretty strange since my role is totally changed.

I always ask myself TWO questions when I was confused for a while: First, why did you quit your well-wage and relatively stable job for studying a diploma course in christian study? Second, what’s your goal in this year? The answers of these two question of mine are very clear. I quitted the job for having a chance to reconstruct (be reconstructed) myself whatever in my personality and spiritual formation. Besides, time is required for me to clarify my future serving path.

Today’s morning worship impressed me with a message: Studying in a theological seminary is not just a matter of handling the knowledge about God but also learning how to handle my own LIFE and how your life inspired by the Words of God.

Dear Jesus, I have handed myself to You and kept my faith upon You. Please teach me how to be your precious tool in Your Kingdom.
